Jude is a huge fan of The Kids Coach, David Nugent, and the incredible Autism Community Hub in Walkinstown. The team wore special hoodies and Jude proudly joined the girls as our matchday mascot for the occasion. Thanks to the generosity of all our supporters, Glenwise Kitchens and JDF Dublin Coach Hire, along with a club match donation, we are absolutely delighted to have raised €4,000 for the Autism Community Hub. We still have a long way to go, but the progress has been incredible. In the last two years alone, we’ve grown from around 30 girls playing football at the club to more than 120. And that journey has now taken us to an All-Ireland semi-final. Today in Tymon Park our U12 Premier Girls delivered a brilliant 2–0 win in front of a packed crowd. On the same day, our U12.3 girls also secured a well-deserved win away to Verona — two teams playing with the same spirit, just like all of our girls’ teams today and every day. Moments like this show exactly why girls in sport matters so much. According to @hersport.ie: 📊 94% of women in executive leadership roles have a background in sport 📊 91% say the skills they developed through sport were important to their career success 📊 88% say the lessons learned through sport transfer directly to the boardroom Sport builds confidence, resilience, teamwork and leadership — and today our girls showed all of those qualities on the pitch.
